| Jack is tall for a human male and keeps himself in good shape. He has a sturdy frame and is very muscular and well built thanks to his frequent visits to the gym. He usually goes for a scruffy look and won't shave for several days unless his wife, STO Sheryl Bailey, asks him too. |
| History |
Jack grew up in North Carolina on the east coast of North America. Though technically the fourth child of six, he and his older brother Luke are twins and only a minute a part. Both he and Luke shouldered a lot of responsibility after their father left, helping their mother look after their younger siblings, particularly after their older sisters graduated and went to start their own lives.
A shuttle pilot for most of his life, Jack ended up settling on the Calhoun after running into Sheryl on a trip to visit his brother Luke. Although neither intended for anything serious to happen, they ended up falling for one another and are now married and have a son, Michael, born Janruary 3rd, 2392. |

He recognizes that while Starfleet is his career, and he does care a great deal about the work he does, that it isn't everything and that he is more than just his job. Consequently he spends a lot of free time with Sheryl and Michael and is also happy to take his son for the day. |

and Skills |
| Jack is a great shuttle pilot and, like Luke, loves to compete in shuttle races. He has also been known to tinker with a shuttle's engines, a skill he and Luke picked up while working in their uncle's garage, modifying his two crafts. Aside from flying Jack is also a skilled carpenter. His prized creation was a crib he made from scratch for Michael as a surprise to Sheryl. He has also been working on improving his cooking skills and has made slow but steady progress. |

Interests |
| Jack loves to spend time in the holodeck with Sheryl and they have visited many different, exotic locations all within the confines of the Calhoun. He also enjoys going to the bar with his brother and friends though he does that less often now that he is a father. |
