Council News
by the Council
November 2009
From Bram's newspaper survey we have heard that Frontier Fleet members would like more information about what is going on behind the scenes. The Council (David, Rob Verl. and Kelley M.), who run the game on day-to-day basis, send out a report to the Game Founder (Guido) and all Command Teams. Below you can read this report. We try and make it not too boring.
All that rests is that we wish you all a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We hope all players keep enjoying themselves in Frontier Fleet!
G-1/Personnel:
November 2009 was a little slower for the council with average movement. Rob recently stepped down from the positions of PR as well as editing the newspaper. Bram readily filled in the editor's position and Scott Simants was appointed as head of PR, with Matt Romano helping out in PR. We anticipate them all to do good jobs.
Also we have assigned a recruit that has graduated from the Academy to AOPS on the USS Calhoun.
Just like the Valkyrie, the Calhoun is in need of a 2O. With the FO on an indefinite LOA a little help is more then welcomed.
G-2/Intelligence:
A question was brought up from one of our members, Robert Maxum, about female members wearing the old skirt uniform or a modified version. It was discussed that Starfleet has pants as their standard uniform for both genders. However, counsellors can wear civilian clothing when on duty (as established in TNG).
G-3/Operations:
Several points were raised regarding the charter and the working of the Game Founder, Council and command and how they work together. They are still being discussed and when something final is reached with the Game Founder and the council, will be put to the Command List.
G-4/Supply and Technology:
The discussion for an auxiliary craft still continues on the forums.
G-5/Civil Affairs and Public Relations:
Rob has transferred the PR duties to Scott Simants and Matt Romano. On Bram's initiative, council news will now also be published in the newspaper.
