What if your life as you know it, is not real? What if all you have ever known, is a creation from someone's mind? What if this 'Writer' has created you, your life, your surroundings, your friends. . . what if this Writer created other persons. . . characters in some sort of story. What if this Writer controls all you and the others do, think, say, want and love? And what if this Writer wants someone to die?
