Personal Log: Clare Bradley

I just finished "Gemworld", Book One. I've gotten some good info on the Elaysians for the database, but most of the other inhabitants of Gemworld were given only a very cursory glance. One good thing about the book is that it explains how a low-gravity world can maintain it's atmosphere.. through forcefields. One bad thing is that a world made of crystals cannot provide food and water. The author tried to explain a way that food grew, but it seemed quite improbable to me. I think the stupid crap outweighs the good stuff, but I might as well read Book Two and get it all tied up.
