(|Personal cloaker|)
In 2372, the personal cloaker was an experimental Romulan device, capable of creating a distortion wave around the user's body, rendering that person invisible to the naked eye. Loaned to the Federation for a mission into the Gamma Quadrant, it was a belt, consisting of several silver boxes connected by mesh links. There was a small control panel, which consisted of a power and time readout, and an on/off switch.

There were only three loaned to the Federation in 2372, but Federation and Romulan scientists were working together at that time to perfect the personal cloakers. The downside to the device was that it used an incredible amount of power to work. The most powerful battery (of appropriate size) could only keep the device functioning for eight minutes. It later turned out that even that wasn't correct and that it only worked for seven minutes and thirty seconds.

When activated, the personal cloaker did allow the user to see the world around him or her, albeit as if through thick, dark glass. Also, one person using a personal cloaker could still see an outline of another person who was also cloaked. (ST: DS9 #17: The Heart of the Warrior by John Gregory Betancourt)

(|Truth finder|)
Tthe truth finder is a lie-detecting device used by the Klingons in the mid-23rd century. Force four is usually sufficient to break down any pretense. It's a mind-sifter, or a mind-ripper, depending on how much force is used. They can record every thought every bit of knowledge in a man's mind. When that much force is used, however, the mind is emptied permanently. What’s left is more vegetable than human. It reaches directly into the mind. Vulcans have certain mental disciplines that enabled Spock to maintain a shield. (TOS: Errand of Mercy)

(|Ultritium|)
During a covert mission to destroy a ketracel-white facility, Sisko placed 90 isotons of enriched ultritium in a ketracel-white canister. It would destroy anything within 800 km. (DS9: A Time to Stand)
