The process initally causes the lungs to burn. The air is initially cloudy, but clears up in the last half hour of the decompression cycle. Before being released from the decompression chamber, subjects go through perceptual tests involving colored circles that blink in different sequences, to determine if the subject is ready for the Xyrillian environment. Rest is strongly recommended after decompression.
