Rusty the Red Shirt Ensign,
had a very shiny shirt.
and if you ever wore it,
you will always beam down first.
All of the other crewman,
used to laugh and call him names.
They never stopped poor Rusty,
from going on the away team games.
Then one ghost ship did appear,
the captain came to say.
Rusty with your shirt so bright,
won't you beam down and die tonight.
Then all the crewman mourned him,
as they shouted out in shame.
Rusty the Red Shirt Ensign,
you'll go down in Starfleet History.
