Stardate: 2391.08.27 (as indicated in Rob's NRPG, to correctly work with the timing of Barclay's message on the 26th).
A staff meeting is held on the Odyssey to discuss the upcoming refit - and more specifically, the addition of transwarp to the Odyssey's capabilities. Promotions are handed out, and the ship begins buzzing as to what these changes will mean for the fleet, and for the crew of the Odyssey, as other members of the crew plan their shoreleaves.
Later on in the day, Ensign Greystone's father (a vulcan, no less) made a surprise appearance on the Odyssey, with an equally shocking announcement that Ensign Greystone was betrothed to a Vulcan woman, and was to be married. captain Bennek agreed to perform the ceremony in roughly two weeks time, on 2391.09.08.

The Odyssey arrives at Betazed for their initial transwarp briefing by Admiral Karrefix and Commodore Urgo. Captain Bennek, Commander Denebris, and Lieutenants Davis, Nerell, and Elan are the notable attendees.
