Normal Suliban have 3 bronchial lobes.
Genetically altered Suliban have 5 bronchial lobes, and their alveoli clusters have been modified to process different types of atmospheres. They can crawl on ceilings and walls. Their skin has subcutaneous pigment sacs which enable them to change their appearance or become invisible. They had compound retinas in their eyes, giving them incredible sight. Some members of the Cabal have been given the ability to measure trust, but it requires close contact. Their bones move in ways normal bones cannot. |

The Suliban are humanoids from sector 3641.
Some members of the Suliban have joined the Cabal, a group which is an active participant in the temporal cold war. They take orders from an unknown person in the distant future in exchange for genetic alterations.
The Cabal began attacking the Tandarans in 2143, prompting the Tandarans to incarcerate innocent Suliban living in their space.
In 2151, the Cabal staged attacks against the Klingons, making it appear that one faction was attacking another in an attempt to start a civil war. The attempt failed when Klaang brought evidence to the High Council of the Suliban's involvement. |

The Suliban use stealth vessels with a tricyclic plasma drive, and particle weapons.
The Cabal gather at Space stations made up of hundreds Suliban vessels, called a Helix. The ships are held together by an interlocking system of magnetic seals. One such station is located in the atmosphere of a class-7 gas giant. The upper layer of the atmosphere was a cyclohexane layer. The Helix was located in the next layer, a liquid phosphorous layer.

Suliban have yellow skin and eyes. The Suliban homeworld became uninhabitable in the 19th century, and they became nomadic, or assimilated into other cultures. The Cabal began attacks on Tandarans in 2143. (ENT: Detained)
Vosk's faction once tried to eradicate the Suliban. They traveled into the Suliban’s past and altered it to prevent them from attaining sentience. The Temporal Agents stopped Vosk, but the Suliban still oppose the Temporal Agents. Silik was shot and killed by the Germans while trying to stop Vosk. (ENT: Storm Front, Part II)
